We are one of the few local firms in the Treasure Valley that have a growing audit practice. They are encouraged to explore the many different client services and technical niche areas that our firm offers. Because we are business advisors to our clients, staff accountants are encouraged to monitor information on the clients' industry, including related publications and web sites, to enable them to relate to the business performance of the client. As professionals, staff accountants also have access to the Firm's technical and training resources to develop and maintain their technical competence.  arris & Co. PLLC offers internships that involve the intern in a broad spectrum of the practice. We have found that these internships provide an excellent opportunity for students to get a feel for "real world" public accounting. Interns are treated like first year staff and have an opportunity to work on a variety of client engagements under the supervision of Firm personnel. These internship opportunities give students a chance to experience public accounting at Harris & Co. PLLC and incorporate this experience into their accounting education. We offer internships through Boise State University, as well as other colleges and universities throughout the state.
